My daughter has been chasing these white fluffy flowers as they float through the breeze for the last week.
She finally caught this one and told me it’s called a Santa Claus Wish.
Apparently, you have to make a Christmas wish on the flower and then blow it away.
There it goes. Lizzie’s wish is on its way to Santa Claus. Let’s hope he gets it!
For my Aussie readers, have you ever heard of this? Not sure if this is an Aussie tradition or just a bit of fun whipped up by our preschool teacher. Any idea what these wispy, white flowers are? They seem to be everywhere at the moment.
I’m playing Wordless Wednesday today with My Little Drummer Boys. Come play along.
