Tomorrow, my girls and I will be boarding the ‘flying kangaroo’ for the very long journey to Baton Rouge.

Yes, I’ve lost my mind. And, I am definitely not looking forward to all the hassles that traveling alone with 2 toddlers entails. However, I’ve never been one to dwell on the negative. So, here are all the reasons that this is a good thing, in no particular order.
1. Today is my last official day of winter for 2010 because unless you are blasting the A/C, South Louisiana is anything but cold in August.
2. I will get to visit with my family and friends in Baton Rouge for 8 whole weeks.
3. My girls will have 8 weeks of getting spoiled by their GiGi.
4. Belvedere is a lot less expensive in America. Bring on the Martinis!
5. Cajun food!!!!!
6. LSU football games and tailgating.
7. Girlfriends
8. Shopping
9. Laughter! Get my brother, sister, and I together, and there is always lots of laughter. Throw my sister in law into the bunch, and, “Oh Lord” , I’m guaranteed to wet my pants.
10. Road tripping to Texas for the 50th Family Reunion and a day at the Schliterbahn. Remember the Alamo!
11. Did I mention 8 whole weeks with family and friends? And the Belvedere? And the food?

Yea! You ca do it! Now when you get on that plane, call me and hand the phone to the pilot, so I can tell him about his precious cargo he has on aboard,and to have a safe trip! Love You all, can’t wait to see you, can’t wait to spoil you all.
Yeah! I get to see you in Texas! Maybe a road trip to ATL for some fun lake fun! Either way it will be great to see you again!
